Key Account Manager / New Business

Alexander Knight Recruitment are currently looking to recruit on behalf of one of their clients a dynamic, enthusiastic, target driven individual to focus on key account management in a vibrant and fast paced environment.

New business research will be required along with reporting directly to the Commercial Sales & Procurement Manager of the company. A pro-active nature and understanding of the complete sales process will be essential for this role.

The roles and responsibilities include:

  • Account management of existing and new clients
  • Research and target dedicated commercial prospect lists
  • Up sell all other products and companies within the group
  • Promote new brands when acquired including the update of product data
  • Produce weekly and monthly target progress reports
  • Input and update all relevant information onto the companies bespoke database
  • Conduct credit checks using the company internal systems
  • Maintain constant contact with existing and new clients (including : telephone, email and letters)
  • Follow through with all credit applications from multiple avenues of business
  • Cold call potential new clients
  • Appointment setting for new business development
  • Consistently hit targets set

Due to the location of the office, a full driving licence and your own transport is preferred.
